July 14 at the site of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy, a personal exhibition of the famous Voronezh sculptor and artist Fyodor Sushkov (1923-2006) began its work in the Governor’s House (Prospect Revolution, 22).
The exhibition brought together more than forty works by Fyodor Kuzmich – paintings on biblical subjects, sketches and models of monuments known from childhood to Voronezh, self-portraits and personal belongings of the artist.
Fyodor Sushkov’s painting is primarily a reflection of his philosophical ideas. The deep religiosity of the master has always been reflected in his works. “Fyodor Kuzmich Sushkov lived in the 20th century and was Russian in all its manifestations. His sculptural compositions follow the orders of the authorities, while his art listens to the call of the soul, “- this is how the Italian art critic Vittorio Sgarbi wrote about the artist’s work.
The exhibition was organized by the sculptor’s granddaughter Anna Sushkova-Nazarova, who, being the heir to the paintings of Fyodor Sushkov, is actively involved in popularizing his creative heritage.

On May 31, Roskulttsentr opened a call for applications for participation in the National Youth Literary Prize for authors writing in Russian: prose writers, poets and screenwriters from Russia aged 18 to 35 years.
Applications are accepted in the following nominations:
“Nonfiction”, “Action novel”, “Science fiction”, “Fantasy”, “Poetry”, “Comics”, “Children’s book”, “E-book” (special nomination). Both unpublished works and previously published works, including samizdat, can apply for the prize.
To apply, you need:
1. Register on the portal AIS “Youth of Russia”
2. Select in the section “events” the National Prize for young authors writing in Russian
3. Choose a nomination and fill out an application in accordance with the specified requirements
4. Publish the nominated work on one of the services offered by the system: liters, litmarket or Yandex.Disk
5. Insert a link to the work published on one of the specified services in the participant’s profile in the personal account on the portal of the AIS “Youth of Russia”.

We have started accepting applications for a competition for projects in the field of culture, art and creative industries.
On June 15, the acceptance of applications for the first competition for the provision of grants from the President of the Russian Federation for the implementation of projects in the field of culture, art and creative (creative) industries began. The deadline for accepting applications is July 30, 2021. The competition is open to non-governmental non-profit organizations (public associations, ANOs, foundations, associations and others), municipal institutions (including libraries, museums, theaters, houses of culture, circles), as well as commercial organizations and even individual entrepreneurs.
3.5 billion rubles will be distributed among the participants of the competition, which are allocated to the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives by its founder – the Presidential Grants Fund.
It is possible to submit initiatives in the field of culture and academic (classical) art, projects to identify and support young talents in the field of culture, art and creative industries, cultural festivals, awards and forums, start-ups in the field of culture, art and creative industries.
