Exhibition “United by Metaphysics” (0+)

October 28, 2020

November 12, 2020 on the third floor of the main building of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy will open the exhibition “United by Metaphysics”.

The exhibition will feature works by five authors: Garif Sharipovich Basyrov, Pyotr Gergardovich Dick, Irina Vladimirovna Zatulovskaya, Mikhail Nikolaevich Kaban-Petrov, Eduard Arkadyevich Steinberg from the private collection of Lipetsk collectors – Yuri Alekseevich and Olga Alekseevna Sidorov.
More than 60 works of painting and graphics, executed in various techniques.

The title of this exhibition is perfectly explained by the words of one of the artists, Peter Dick:
“The path of plausibility in art is the path of illusion, a dead-end path. An artist who has chosen this path inevitably comes to the substitution of the fact of art for the fact of an illusory moment. Such “art” denies its own nature (as a system of conventions: plane, color, rhythm, tone, plastic), but pretends to be a fact of reality. Replication of the illusion of plausibility is directly opposed to the creative act, which is always unique, one of a kind. “

The cost of visiting the exhibition is 100 rubles for all categories of visitors.
Members of the Union of Artists (upon presentation of a certificate) – free.
Photography: mobile devices, camera (without flash) – free of charge.

The exhibition will run until December 13, 2020.
