Collection of etchings by the French painter and graphic artist of the XVIII century Jean-Jacques de Boissier from the funds of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after. I.N. Kramskoy – one of the best and most complete in museum collections in Russia.

The creative legacy of the remarkable etotist, whose works are kept in museums and private collections in European countries and the US, turned out to be beyond the scientific interests of Russian art historians. Restoration and study of a large monographic collection, held in the All-Union Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Arts. Acad. I.E. Grabar, allowed to return the works to the exposition view, to put forward a hypothesis about the origin of the collection, to attribute and catalog the graphic sheets, and also to reveal analogies, copies and forgery of the master’s works in the largest graphic collections of the country.
