October 31, 2019 at 16.00 on the second floor of the exhibition hall of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy will host the grand opening of the personal exhibition of the national artist of the RSFSR, academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Oleg Mikhailovich Savostyuk “On the Land of the Arabs”.
The author managed to visit many countries of the Middle East. As an artist, he perceived them as something in common, and beauty was common – the beauty of the desert, midday sun, sunsets, small settlements, moving caravans.
Today this world is a combination of antiquity and ultramodernity. Chic Mercedes and Audi overtake caravans of camels, and high-speed military aircraft rush in the sky above mosques. For us, this Earth is somewhat strange and unusual, but if we take a closer look at it, we will find in it unspeakable beauty.
The exhibition presents more than 100 paintings, each of which reflects today’s life and today’s worldview.
The cost of visiting the exhibition is 50 rubles for all categories of visitors.

Oleg Mikhailovich Savostyuk was born on December 30, 1927 in Moscow.
In 1947-1953 studied at the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikova (workshop of academicians M.M. Cheremnykh and N.A. Ponomarev).
He taught at the poster workshop at the Faculty of Graphics, Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikova, since 1982 – Professor. He also taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Finland, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poland, at the University of Denver (USA).
In the 1960s and 90s collaborated with various publishers.
He worked in the field of theater poster, book graphics, easel painting, monumental painting, design. Posters and posters for the ballet performances of the Bolshoi Theater, made by the artist, were included in the gold fund of domestic decoration art.

Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy is one of the largest scientific, artistic, cultural and educational centers of the city of Voronezh and the entire Chernozem region. The museum pays great attention to the preservation and enhancement of the collection of works by Voronezh artists, who at different times in life and work, or in circumstances of birth, were associated with Voronezh.
The value of the collection stored in the museum’s funds, reflecting the realities of the life of the Voronezh land in its various historical periods, is truly great both in aesthetic and applied aspects. The period of the 20th century is especially interesting.
Attention to the Soviet era and Soviet art of different periods, is experiencing its rise. Around the concepts of “Soviet era, Soviet art, Soviet people” are debated, debated, made the most mixed assessments of the creators and the very time: relatively close and already so distant.
The exhibition “Life, Art, Time” introduces the works of Voronezh artists of the 60-70s of the XX century. This period in the artistic life of Voronezh is marked by a lively and multifaceted process of formation and growth of masters of painting, graphics, decorative and applied art, sculpture. They are searching for new expressive means in each of the types of fine art, searching for dynamism, laconicism, simplicity of plot, generalization with vivid emotionality and acuteness.
The exhibition is retrospective, it presents 30 paintings and graphic works by artists of a given period, in the genre of a plot-thematic painting, landscape and portrait, illustrating the diversity of their interests and ideas.
The exhibition will run until December 8, 2019.
January 18, 2020 VOHM them. I.N. Kramskoi invites to a lecture “Between Giotto and Duccio: Italian Painting of the Dante Era” (from the series “The Faust Palette”).
The lecture will discuss Italian painting of the XIV century: its history, origins, schools and the most prominent representatives.

November 3, 2019, on the eve of National Unity Day, Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy will once again join the annual cultural and educational action “Night of the Arts.” The theme of the action will once again be the theme “Art Unites”.

15.00 – 16.00. Interactive zone “In search of a hero.” 7+
Everyone is invited to participate in the competition to create a museum hero. It is proposed to think over the characteristics of the hero and draw him. As a result of the competition, the museum hero will be presented on the printing products of the museum, aimed at a children’s audience. At the end of the competition, participants will receive memorable prizes.

It will be about a work from the museum collection by the brush of the reformer of Italian painting of the XVI – XVII centuries, one of the founders of the Bologna Academy, Annibale Carracci (1560-1609). The works of this master are rare in museum collections of our country. Until recently, the plot of the picture was defined as the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary. You can learn the secrets of the canvas by visiting the museum in the “Night of the Arts.”

Concert of the ensemble of cellists “Chelo-Vecheki” (Children’s Art School No. 7, Voronezh), winner of numerous international competitions in Voronezh, Belgorod, Sochi, Moscow. The ensemble’s repertoire is based not only on Russian and foreign academic music, but also music of various genres and styles. The concert will feature music by P. Tchaikovsky, A. Dvorzhak, M. Leonidov, D. Gershwin, G. Holterman and others.

18.00 00 – 19.00. Conversation at the exhibition “Treasures from the storerooms – M.E. Kharlamov “Holiday on the bridge” (1917). 10+
In the continuation of the cycle of exhibitions representing rarely exhibited museum items, a painting by Mikhail Evgrafovich Kharlamov will be shown, which entered the museum as part of the Museum of Paintings Culture project in 1920. At the exhibition, a conversation will be held about the MZhK project, about the artist and his work.

The on-site exhibition “Treasures of Russian Museums” is a continuation of the exhibition of the same name, which was held with unprecedented success in November 2018 at the Central Exhibition Hall “Manege” (Moscow). Voronezh residents and visitors to the city will see paintings by V.A. Tropinina, I.I. Shishkina, A.I. Kuindzhi, I.N. Kramskoy, I.E. Repina, B.M. Kustodieva, I.E. Grabar, and other artists representing the golden fund of domestic art.

November 10, 2019 VOHM them. I.N. Kramskoy invites adults and children over 7 years old to a master class of the artist Victoria Afanasyeva.
At the workshop “Watercolor effects”, participants will get acquainted with various textures in watercolor, which are achieved through the use of improvised material such as cling film.
Everyone will be able to create 2-3 works of the A5 and A6 format, in which he will try to combine the techniques “raw”, “dry” and the use of texture.
The master class starts at 12.00.
Duration 90 minutes.
The cost of participation (1 person) is 250 rubles.

October 20 at 15.00 in the Voronezh Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy held a master class for children from 7 years old and their parents.
The master class “Summer Landscape”, led by Lyudmila Kashirsky, was devoted to creating landscapes from wool using the technique of dry felting.
The finished “woolen” paintings, framed, the participants took with them.

October 19, 2019 VOKhM them. I.N. Kramskoy took part in a citywide cleanup.
During the cleanup, the following work was carried out:
– cleaning leaves and grass from the lawn;
– cleaning of the adjacent territory, with asphalt and paved tiles;
– cleaning the blind area and the foundation of the main museum building;
– sawing trees in the courtyard of the museum.
In total, 15 museum employees took part in the cleanup.
On October 13, the museum hosted a workshop “Glowing Autumn” led by artist Victoria Afanasyeva.
It was dedicated to creating a watercolor autumn landscape.
At the master class, the participants learned how working with tone allows you to create the effect of “luminous” watercolor work, and also created several small works using different techniques: watercolor “raw” and “dry”, “splashes”.
