Exhibition “Through the Bunin Word. Painting, graphics, sculpture ” (0+)

October 15 in the exhibition hall of VOKhM them. I.N. Kramskoy will open the exhibition “Through the Bunin Word”, timed to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the birth of Ivan Alekseevich Bunin.

The exhibition will feature works by artists from 10 cities: Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Yelets, Moscow, Orel, Ostrogozhsk, St. Petersburg, Tambov. During the exhibition, the artists will be united by the work of the writer, Nobel laureate in literature, Ivan Bunin.

Ivan Bunin entered Russian literature as a subtle master of landscape, he created painting through words. Pictures of nature that appear on the pages of Bunin’s works are extremely poetic. Filled with special harmony, they convey the author’s admiration for this powerful force. For this reason, a significant part of the works at the exhibition is devoted to the landscape.

It is interesting to compare your ideas about the writer with the images that artists embody in different materials. The exhibition will feature picturesque, graphic and sculptural portraits of Ivan Bunin.

The exposition brought together more than 100 works (painting, graphics, sculpture) by contemporary artists from different schools and trends in order to show together the tremendous contribution to Russian culture made by Ivan Alekseevich Bunin.

Full ticket – 200 rubles.
Discount ticket (pupils, students, pensioners) – 150 rubles.
Members of the Union of Artists (upon presentation of a certificate) – free.

Exhibition “Roads of Victory” opened in Lipetsk

September 23 at the Art Museum. V.S. Sorokin – the House of the Master (Lipetsk) opened an exhibition of works by the front-line correspondent Semyon Legenya “Roads of Victory” from the funds of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Among many famous Voronezh front-line artists, the name of the graphic artist and painter Semyon Danilovich Legeni (1905–1994) occupies a special place. He began his combat path as part of the 6th Army of the Voronezh Front and continued it with weapons in hand as part of the Southwestern and 1st Ukrainian fronts, making sketches of battles and their heroes, landscapes and ancient architecture.

Semyon Legenya, without any exaggeration, was a true chronicler of the army formation. He meticulously recorded the path of his military unit, which he went from Novokhopersk in the Voronezh region through Ukraine, Moldova, Poland to Germany itself.

The entire “Front Series” of Semyon Danilovich is of great importance for preserving memory and an objective view of the tragic and heroic years of the Great Patriotic War.

The exposition presents 20 graphic works, made in the genre of portrait and thematic drawing, highlighting the heroic path of Soviet troops on the way to Victory.

The exhibition is supplemented by exhibits from the Museum of Battle Glory of the Lipetsk Expeditionary Club “Neunyvaki” Vladislav Shiryaev.

The exhibition will run until November 25, 2020.

The 4th of October. Master class of artist Victoria Afanasyeva “Chestnuts”

October 4 VOKHM them. I.N. Kramskoy invites to the master class of artist Victoria Afanasyeva “Chestnuts”.

The master class is devoted to the creation of a drawing from nature using sepia material. During the lesson, students will perform 1-2 works of A4 format, get acquainted with the features of working with sepia, various techniques that allow them to convey the volume and texture of the objects depicted, for example, autumn chestnuts.

Audience: over 16 years old

Master class starts at 12.00
Duration: 90 minutes

Cost: 400 rubles (300 rubles lesson + 100 rubles entrance to the museum).

Master class by Denis Bulavintsev “How bears were printed”

Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy invites artist Denis Bulavintsev to the master class “How the Bears were Printed”, dedicated to the creation of linocut.

The master class will give a bonus – a tour of the Bear Alphabet exhibition, where the author will tell about his works and the history of their creation.
Then the participants will have a short story about the history of printed graphics and various printing techniques, as well as familiarity with examples of works.
And then, at the practical part of the lesson, each participant will create his own linocut and print it on a real etching machine.

Audience: over 16 years old.

The master class will be held twice:
September 20 at 12.00
September 27 at 12.00

The duration of each is 2.5 hours (30 minutes tour of the exhibition and 2 hours of practical part).

Exhibition “Those who did not stick to other people’s shores” opened in Orel

September 10, 2020 at the Oryol United State Literary Museum of I.S. Turgenev opened an exhibition of artists from the Russian diaspora “Those who did not stick to other people’s shores.”

The exhibition presents high-quality printed copies of works by emigrant artists – Pyotr Nilus, Elena Kiseleva and Pavel Shmarov from the funds of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy.

September 13 in the exhibition hall of VOKhM them. I.N. Kramskoy, the grand opening of two exhibitions of the X International Platonov Festival of Arts took place.

Exhibitions “Alexander Drevin and Nadezhda Udaltsova. Painting, graphics “and” Mikhail Prekhner. Photo avant-garde of the 1930s ”were the first events of the festival program.

In her welcoming speech, the head of the department of culture of the Voronezh region, Maria Mazur, noted the importance of the festival for the city, its expectation, especially in the current conditions and restrictions associated with the topic of a pandemic.

The artistic director of the festival, Mikhail Bychkov, expressed his gratitude to everyone who took an active part in the preparation of the festival program and contributed to the festival taking place in 2020.

Director of the Voronezh Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy Olga Ryabchikova presented exhibition projects and emphasized that thanks to the Platonov Festival, Voronezh residents and guests of the city have a unique opportunity to see works from the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Tula Museum of Fine Arts, most of which are usually kept in museum stores.

Alisa Lyubimova, a leading researcher of the painting department of the second half of the 19th – early 21st centuries of the State Russian Museum, was the guest of honor at the opening. She spoke about the life and work of artists Alexander Drevin and Nadezhda Udaltsova, whose paintings and graphic works are presented at the exhibition.
“The exhibition shows that a person born for creativity and art is free,” the specialist noted.

At the ceremony, a letter from the granddaughter of A. Drevin and N. Udaltsova Ekaterina Drevina was read out, who congratulated everyone on the opening of the exhibition and shared some facts from the biographies of famous relatives. It was noted that E.A. Drevin is also connected with Platonovfest by the fact that she and her husband K. Yasinovsky regularly visit the family dacha, where Andrei Platonovich Platonov himself repeatedly visited in the late 30s and postwar 40s.

Festival exhibitions will run until October 4, 2020.

The exhibition “Artist of Midday” has opened at the branch of the Lipetsk Art Museum

September 9, 2020 at the branch of the Lipetsk Regional Art Museum “Art Gallery named after ON THE. Sysoev ”the opening of the exhibition of works by Ivan Ivanovich Shishkin“ Artist of noon ”took place.

The exhibition presents 17 graphic works of the master from the funds of VOKhM named after I.N. Kramskoy, made using the etching technique.

The opening was attended by officials from the administration of the Lev-Tolstovsky municipal district, employees of the memorial museum in memory of L.N. Tolstoy “Astapovo”, the head and employees of the Lev-Tolstovsky intersettlement central library, the head and employees of the Lev-Tolstovsky House of Creativity, as well as the creative intelligentsia.

Museum lesson “Silhouette of flowers and herbs”

For the first time after a long break VOKHM them. I.N. Kramskoy resumes museum activities!

The starting lesson “Silhouette of flowers and herbs” will be held twice:

September 10 at 18.00
September 12 at 12.00

During the lesson, everyone will get acquainted with materials such as ink and oil pastels, and create a drawing in mixed media. An important aspect of the lesson will be the development of a drawing from nature. Under the guidance of the presenter, everyone will learn not only to see and analyze samples of the plant world, but also to meaningfully transfer what they see to paper using the expressive language of graphics.

The lesson is led by Olga Remez, a senior researcher at the museum. Artist, teacher. Graduated from the Voronezh Art School (technical school). He is fluent in various graphic and painting techniques. An active participant in exhibitions, creative competitions and plein airs.

Audience: 16 years old and older

Duration: 90 minutes

Lesson cost: 300 rubles (200 – lesson and 100 – entrance ticket to the museum).

VISITING THE MAIN EXHIBITION AND TIME EXHIBITIONS IN SELF-INSPECTION MODE

Visiting expositions and exhibitions in the mode of self-examination is carried out according to the following schedule:
Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday – 10:00 – 18:00;
Thursday – 12:00 – 20:00;
Friday – 11:00 – 18:00;
Monday, Tuesday – day off.

Purchase of tickets for self-examination of the exposition and exhibitions of the museum is carried out at the ticket office of the museum or on the museum website.

The ticket office stops working 45 minutes before the museum closes.

No more than 30 visitors can be in the museum building at a time.

Visitors need a mask.

VISITING THE MAIN EXPOSITION AS A PART OF EXCURSION GROUP

A visit to the exposition as part of an excursion group is carried out by appointment at the indicated hours of sessions by a limited number of visitors (no more than 5 people).
The duration of the excursion is 60 minutes.
