April 27, 2019 in the Voronezh Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy held a museum lesson for children and parents «Genres of painting»
At the exhibition, the participants got acquainted with the main genres of fine art, learned about the features of creating a still life, portrait, landscape and genre paintings. The knowledge gained was applied when creating your own works.
April 24, 2019 in the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramsky hosted the solemn transfer of the painting by the Russian People’s Artist of the RSFSR, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Oleg Mikhailovich Savostyuk “House of Turgenev in Buzhival” as a gift to the Orlovsky State Literary Museum of I.S. Turgenev.
The meeting, in the framework of the donation of paintings, held thanks to the joint initiative of the artist himself and the Voronezh Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy, became one of the links in the strengthening of inter-museum cooperation.
The meeting was opened by the director of the Art Museum. I.N. Olga Kramskoy Olga Ryabchikova, who noted that in Russian art there are many works devoted to Turgenev places in Russia, but the picture of Oleg Savostyuk is the only one that captured Turgenev’s house in France, which became the last refuge of the great writer.
During the meeting, the director of the Orlovsky United State Literary Museum, I.S. Turgeneva Vera Efremova told the guests about the museum events dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of I.S. Turgenev, held in the anniversary 2018 year. Vera Vitalevna addressed with sincere gratitude to the artist and the Voronezh Museum. I.N. Kramskoy for such an expensive gift, and also expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation between museums and cultural communities of Voronezh and Orel.
Oleg Mikhailovich Savostyuk in his speech shared his personal impressions of visiting the villa of I.S. Turgenev “Ash” in Bougival (France), inspired him to create the same picture.
At the end of the meeting audio recordings of poems in the prose of I.S. Turgenev, performed by actress Alice Koonen.
Among the guests were the director of the literary museum director of the Voronezh Literary Museum. I.S. Nikitina Svetlana Derkacheva, director of the Voronezh Art School, Sergei Gulevsky, museum staff, representatives of the cultural community of Voronezh and museum visitors. The main character of the event was, of course, the author of the picture himself – Oleg Mikhailovich Savostyuk.
