The participants of the lesson will see the bas-reliefs of the Russian artist, medalist and sculptor Fyodor Petrovich Tolstoy from the museum’s collection. Then the guests will get acquainted with the main features of classicism; learn about such concepts as form and counterform, about varieties of relief. And during the practical part of the lesson, participants will make a hand-made masterpiece that you can give to friends, family, or decorate the interior of your home with it.
The master class is conducted by senior researcher of the museum, artist Olga Remez.
