On August 27, 2021, an exhibition of computer copies of engravings of the Peter the Great era from the collection of VOKhM named after V.I. I.N. Kramskoy.
In the funds of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy, a special place belongs to the Peter’s engraving, the origin of which is associated with plans to create in the 1830s in provincial Voronezh a memorial monument dedicated to Peter I and St. Mitrofan of Voronezh.
The exhibition presents 35 printed reproductions of works, a significant part of which are the works of the master of cutter engraving Alexey Zubov. Many rare and valuable sheets were made by foreign masters – engravers who came to Russia at the invitation of Peter the Great – Adrian Schonebeck, Peter Picart, Hendrik Dewitt, Nicola Larmessen, Jacob Kaiser. The collection also includes works by Russian masters of that time: Ivan Zubov, Grigory Tepchegorsky, Ivan Myakishev, Semyon Matveyev, Alexei Rostovtsev and other masters.
The exhibition will run until October 27.
In 2021, the Yasnaya Polyana Estate Museum celebrates its centenary and launches the Museum Mirrors campaign on social networks.
The action starts on the eve of Leo Tolstoy’s birthday.
From September 8 to October 8, 2021 on social networks Instagram, Vkontakte, Odnoklassniki, Facebook and Twitter, publish photos of mirrors from museum expositions or mirrors depicted on museum items.
