Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy announces the start of the children’s drawing competition “Mom, I will become an artist!” The competition is one of the stages in the preparation of the exhibition “And again, and again I return to childhood”, which will be held at the museum from June 10 to July 4.
Anyone from 6 to 17 years old can participate in the competition.
To participate in the competition, it is necessary to create a replica or, more simply, “make a copy” of a work from the museum collection. In this case, you can use any materials: pencils, paints, gouache, felt-tip pens, gel and ordinary pens, charcoal, sanguine, plasticine and others, as well as use the collage technique.

All works will be divided into 3 age nominations, in each of which 3 winners will be determined (1st, 2nd, 3rd place).
1.6-10 years old

3.15-17 years old
A scan or photo of the work (without glare, shadows and unnecessary items) must be sent to the mail kramskoy.konkurs@yandex.ru
Photo must be at least 2 MB (format – JPG / TIFF / PNG)
In the letter, be sure to indicate the name, surname and age of the participant.
Stages of the competition:
1. Acceptance of works from April 15 to June 01, 2021 inclusive.
2. Summing up the results of the competition until June 10. The results of the competition will be posted on the museum’s website and in social networks.
3. The winners will be awarded on June 10 at the opening of the Children’s Theme in Art exhibition.
All winners will receive prizes from the project partners of the Amital bookstore on Pushkinskaya.
To all participants:
1. All contestants will receive certificates from the museum.
2. The works of the participants in the format of a video film will be exhibited at the exhibition throughout the entire period of its work.

April 30, 2021 on the third floor of the main building of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after V.I. I.N. Kramskoy will open the exhibition “To end the war and admire the world.”
The exhibition will feature more than 20 graphic works from the collection of the VOKhM them. I.N. Kramskoy, created by the artist Nikolai Borisovich Vasilenko.
A peculiar feature of the graphic performance of Nikolai Vasilenko lies in the unity of clear graphics, excellent mastery of the finest line and clearly expressed picturesque perception of nature. Graphic sheets are complex compositions with a detailed plot. They dynamically convey the state of nature, impress with a general emotional tone, and dispose to immersion in their inner world.
Monographic exhibition of works by N.B. Vasilenko shows the beauty and subtlety of graphic art. The most beautiful places of the Voronezh region are reflected in the works of the master. These are the city streets of Voronezh, and the images of the Don River, and the countryside of the Don region. The artist knew his native land and loved it dearly.
Vasilenko Nikolai Borisovich (1917-2009) – graphic landscape painter, member of the Union of Artists, participant of the Great Patriotic War. In his work, the artist continued the realistic traditions of the Russian landscape. The main tool of the master was the pen, and he created his masterpieces using ordinary ink. Nikolai Vasilenko chose these materials during his school years and remained faithful to them until the end of his life.
The cost of the visit is 50 rubles for all categories of visitors.
The exhibition will run until June 06, 2021.
