Today, November 18, 2020, in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Voronezh artist Alexander Buchkuri, the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy and Russian Post held a solemn cancellation of the marked envelope.
An artistic stamp was made especially for this event. On the envelopes and stamp there is an image of a fragment of A. Buchkuri “Self-portrait” (1941) from the museum collection.
Only today, on the artist’s birthday, it will be possible to put stamps in the building of the Central Post Office (Revolutsii Ave., 25).
And tomorrow, November 19, from 12.00 o’clock, the exhibition “Alexander Buchkuri: student and teacher” will start working in the museum.
Since November 13, 202, a monographic exhibition “Eternal Youth of the Heart. Paintings and drawings by Peter Nilus from the funds of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after I.N. Kramskoy ”dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Ivan Alekseevich Bunin.
The exhibition features 40 works by P.A. Nilus out of 73 that make up the Voronezh collection of the artist’s works, the largest among Russian museum collections. All the works presented were created by the master during the period of emigration (1919-1943), which emphasizes their special value.
The exhibition will run until January 17, 2021.

November 12, 2020 at the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy opened the exhibition “United by Metaphysics”.
The exposition presents more than 60 works of painting and graphics created by five authors: Garif Basyrov, Peter Dick, Irina Zatulovskaya, Mikhail Kaban-Petrov, Eduard Steinberg.
All works from the private collection of Lipetsk collectors Yuri and Olga Sidorov.

An artist who has chosen this path inevitably comes to the substitution of the fact of art for the fact of an illusory moment. Such “art” denies its own nature (as a system of conventions: plane, color, rhythm, tone, plastic), but pretends to be a fact of reality.
