On June 3, 2023 at 16:00 in the exhibition hall of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after I.N. Kramskoy, exhibitions of the XII International Platonov Festival of Arts will open: “Robert Falk. Painting and Graphics” and an exhibition of photographs by Alexander Rodchenko.
From 16:00 to 17:30 – admission to the exhibition is free.

The central event of the exhibition program of the Platonov Festival will be a project dedicated to the work of an outstanding painter, avant–gardist and classic of Russian art of the twentieth century, one of the leaders of the Jack of Diamonds, an iconic figure of the thaw – Robert Falk. Voronezh residents will be able to see about 50 paintings and graphic works by the artist from the collections of the State Russian Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Historical and Art Museum “New Jerusalem”, the Kursk State Art Gallery named after A.A. Deineka, the Tula Museum Association. The project “Robert Falk. Painting and Graphics” is a retrospective reflecting Falk’s creative path from the early works of 1909 to the works of the 1950s and emphasizing the diversity of his heritage.

The exhibition will run from June 3 to July 2, 2023.

At the meeting, the guests will consider the life and artistic strategies of Robert Falk, determine his place and role in Russian art. Visitors will hear about the half-century history of the master’s work and learn how public recognition was formed.
