Thematic classes for organized school groups (from 7 to 17 years old)

The Voronezh Regional Art Museum invites organized groups of schoolchildren to thematic classes of the Museum Stories series and lectures of the In the Land of Art cycle.

Classes are held on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays upon prior request by phone: 8 (473) 255-50-81.
The duration of each lesson is 90 minutes.
Cost – 200 rubles (1 person).

MUSEUM CLASSES:

“We came to the museum” (7-12 years). September October.

The lesson will help to form an initial idea of ​​​​an art museum, to get acquainted with the permanent museum exposition using the example of the most memorable works. In the creative workshop, participants will create their own versions of museums.
Number of participants: up to 25 people.

“In the artist’s studio” (7-12 years old). November December

At the lesson, participants will get acquainted with the profession of an artist-painter, with the tools and visual materials that the artist uses, and also try their hand at creativity.
Number of participants: up to 25 people.

“In the land of the pyramids” (7-14 years). February March

At the lesson, participants will travel into the past and get acquainted with the oldest collection of Egyptian antiquities in Russia, learn the secrets of the country of the pyramids and visit an ancient Egyptian scribe. The practical part is devoted to painting the imitation of the Egyptian relief.
Number of participants: up to 15 people

“What the vases told us about” (7–14 years old). April May

Participants will get acquainted with the collection of ancient Greek ceramics, learn about pottery and vase painting, get an idea about the purpose and use of ancient Greek vessels in public life. The practical part will provide an opportunity to paint vase patterns in the ancient Greek style.

“Artists-Countrymen” (14-17 years old). September – May

At the lesson, participants will get acquainted with the life and work of talented artists of the Voronezh land – I.N. Kramskoy, A.A. Buchkuri, E.A. Kiseleva. The overview of the museum collection includes a visit to the halls of the permanent exhibition.

“Types and genres of fine arts” (from 14–17 years old). September – May

Participants will get an idea about the specifics of the fine arts, its types and genres, the diversity and uniqueness of the art world. The overview of the museum collection includes a visit to the halls of the permanent exhibition.

LECTURES “IN THE LAND OF ART”

Lectures are designed for children from 7 to 14 years old.
They are held on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays by prior request by phone: 8 (473) 255-50-81.
The number of participants is up to 30 people.
The duration of each lecture is 60 minutes.
Cost – 150 rubles (1 person).

Lecture “Nature and the artist”. September.

Let’s get acquainted with the landscape as a genre of painting, the features of the lyrical landscape, landscape-mood and marina. We will help develop the ability to experience a landscape image and emotional perception of color. The overview of the museum collection includes a visit to the halls of the permanent exhibition.

Lecture “The Quiet Life of Things”. October.

On the example of the Russian and Western European schools of painting, we will consider still life as a genre of painting, get acquainted with the history of the genre, varieties of still life, feel and see the beauty of the objective world. Lecture “Portrait in Fine Art”. November.

Let’s talk about the role of a portrait in shaping interest in a person, in the world of his feelings, about the types of portrait, learn to distinguish a chamber portrait from a formal one, and learn about the features of creating a self-portrait. Lecture “Historical painting and everyday genre”. December.

We will learn the history of the emergence of the genre, talk about the variety of topics and plots. Let’s figure out why the historical and everyday genres are a reflection of eras and different aspects of human life.
