As part of the annual Night of Museums campaign, the Kramskoy Voronezh Regional Art Museum hosted 3 master classes, a thematic excursion, a lecture and 2 concerts. In addition, for all visitors there was a photo zone “In the circle of comrades” where everyone could take a picture in the “environment” of the Wanderers.

In addition to the permanent exhibition, the current exhibitions “Vivat, Russia!” and “The Mythology of Time” in the museum space, an exhibition of one painting by H. Bezler-Chizhevsky “Portrait of Peter I” (from the museum’s funds) was presented, which included a thematic excursion “There was an eternal worker on the throne.” On it, the museum’s guests learned about the peculiarities of the typology of the Russian portrait of the 18th century, about the manners and stylistic techniques of the art of the Petrine era.

Lecture “Peter’s ships. The history of the navy in the Voronezh land” introduced the audience to the history of the Voronezh region, the origins of shipbuilding art on the banks of the Voronezh and Don rivers, and the main types of warships of the early 18th century.

At master classes led by artists Nelly Frolova, Olga Remez and Denis Bulavintsev, participants created architectural sketches, engravings on cardboard and “velvety” paintings on sandpaper using the dry pastel drawing technique.

The works of classical musicians and contemporary authors were performed by the CLASS-CELLO cello ensemble of the Children’s Art School No. 7 in Voronezh.

The program of the evening ended with a concert of the CARILIONA chapel of manual chromatic bells conducted by Oleg Pozharsky.
