The mobile exhibition project "The Voronezh Region - the Land of Peter the Great" has started in the Voronezh Region

On March 31, a traveling exhibition of photographic works “The Voronezh Region – the Land of Peter I” dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the birth of Peter I was opened in the Ramonsky District Center for Culture and Leisure.

The exhibition was organized by the Department of Culture of the Voronezh Region with the participation of the Voronezh Art College (Technical School), Vladimir Golub’s Photography School, the Fotum Photo Club and the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy.

The exposition presents 25 photographs united by a common theme of the beauty of the nature of the Voronezh Territory, unique places that are forever associated with the name of Peter.

The exhibited works represent not only traditional photographic techniques, but also creative experiments such as photography and photo painting. This allows you to see the world more voluminously through the prism of feelings, emotions, perceptions of the authors, expressed in their chosen pictorial forms.

The authors of the photographs are graduates of Vladimir Golub’s Photo School, members of the Voronezh photo club “Fotum”.

Particular attention of photographers is focused on the image of the Don River, the main waterway of the Voronezh Territory, the river along which the first Russian warships built at the Voronezh shipyard went.

The exhibition will last in Ramon until April 14, after which it will be presented in other municipal districts of the Voronezh region. The exhibition tour will continue until September 19, 2022.

Since 2007 Vladimir Golub’s photography school has been teaching photography at the highest level in several programs. During this time, more than 2,000 people have been trained, many of whom have become professional photographers working in commercial, advertising, art photography, photojournalism, and design. Among the graduates of the Photoschool are members of the Union of Photographers of Russia, the International Light Painting World Alliance, the Union of Wildlife Photographers.

Photoclub “Fotum” was organized in 2011 by Vladimir Golub and his students. The purpose of the club is to develop and popularize artistic photography, improve the creative skills of the members of the photo club. Many members of the photoclub have both participation in collective exhibitions and personal exhibitions, publications in various publications, are winners and laureates of prestigious international and Russian photo contests.

The organizer and head of the photo school and photo club “Fotum” Vladimir Alexandrovich Golub is a member of the Union of Photographers of Russia, a member of the Creative Union Photoart.
