Awarding of the Director of the Voronezh Art Museum

September 9, 2021 at VOKhM named after V. I.N. Kramskoy, a solemn meeting was held during which the director of the museum, Olga Alexandrovna Ryabchikova, was awarded the Diploma named after V.I. V.D. Dobromirova.

Diploma named after Vladimir Dmitrievich Dobromirov – art critic, director of the VOKhM named after I.N. Kramskoy (2007-2018), Honored Artist of the Voronezh Region, Honorary Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts – was approved in 2019, after his death. Vladimir Dobromirov was one of the initiators of a joint project of an art museum, the Council of Rectors of Universities of the Voronezh Region and the newspaper “Vuzovskiy Vestnik”. Every year, within the framework of this project, students of the art departments of the city’s universities are awarded the prize “For loyalty to the traditions of realistic art.”

The award ceremony was held by the Rector of Voronezh State University Dmitry Endovitsky and the Scientific Secretary of the Council of Rectors, Associate Professor Vladimir Listengarten.

During the meeting, Dmitry Aleksandrovich noted that VSU and the museum have a common genetic fund, and long-term cooperation between the two educational and cultural institutions is very valuable, and, of course, will continue.

Olga Aleksandrovna thanked for the awarded diploma, stressing that she perceives it not as a personal award, but as a recognition of the museum and its merits in the cultural life of the city.
