Exhibition "Knights of the Russian Table" opened in the Governor's House

June 17 at the site of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy in the House of the Governor (Pr. Revolution, 22) an exhibition of samovars “Knights of the Russian table” from the private collection of Anatoly Borodetsky was solemnly opened.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Head of the Department of Culture of the Voronezh Region Tatyana Tsapina, Acting Director of the VOKhM named after I.N. Kramskoy Oksana Lepneva, Deputy Chairman of the Voronezh Regional Duma, Chairman of the Committee for Culture and Historical Heritage Sergei Rudakov and the owner of the collection himself, restorer Anatoly Borodetsky.

In the welcoming words of the speakers, it was noted that the more than 170 samovars presented at the exhibition are just a part of the large collection of Russian household items owned by the collector. Also, the invited guests expressed confidence that the exhibition would be interesting to a wide range of visitors, and especially to the youth audience.

For all those who came to the opening, Anatoly Borodetsky conducted an author’s excursion, during which he spoke about the history, varieties and features of the exhibits, paying special attention to the Voronezh samovars.

The exhibition will run until the end of 2021. Visiting it is possible as part of excursion groups for sessions. The schedule and conditions of visit are presented here
