Vernissage of the exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Vasily Krivoruchko

Kramskoy hosted the vernissage of the exhibition dedicated to the 100th birthday of the Voronezh painter, graphic artist, Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR, the first honorary citizen of Voronezh, a public figure, the first laureate of the Prize of St. Sergius of Radonezh – Vasily Pavlovich Krivoruchko.

The exhibition “He loved Russia with all his heart” is a joint project of the museum with the Artists of Voronezh charity foundation. Its president A.A. Bubnov was given financial and organizational support, which allowed him to present the artist’s works from other museums and collections.

In his opening speech, the director of the Art Museum named after I.N. Kramskoy Olga Ryabchikova noted that the last exhibition of V.P. Krivoruchko in the halls of VOHM them. I.N. Kramskoy was exactly 10 years ago, on the 90th anniversary of the artist. At the current exhibition, about 150 works are presented – these are works from three museums: the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy, Voronezh Regional Museum of Local Lore and Liskinsky Museum of History and Local Lore. As well as works from the art gallery of the New Housing Inter-settlement Library and a private collection.

Head of the Secretariat of the Governor of the Voronezh Region Igor Lotkov congratulated the audience on a solemn event and on behalf of the Governor of the Voronezh Region A.V. Gusev handed over the welcome address.

The grand opening was attended by guests who knew Vasily Pavlovich Krivoruchko well, among them Archpriest Andrei, who repeatedly participated in the organization of the master’s exhibitions. He shared his memories of the artist, noting his amazing indefatigable energy, which allowed the master to do so much throughout his life. In addition, Father Andrei conveyed greetings to Metropolitan Sergiy of Voronezh and Liskinsky, expressed gratitude to the organizers of the exhibition, emphasizing that the exhibition was “amazing and inspiring.

Director of the Voronezh Art College Sergey Gulevsky in his speech noted that, despite the fact that the author has not been alive for more than twenty years, his work is modern and remains relevant today. . This is not surprising, since Vasily Krivoruchko was a true patriot not only of Voronezh, but of the whole of Russia.

The artist’s guest of honor was Alla Krivoruchko’s daughter. She thanked the guests of the exhibition on her own behalf, as well as on the artist’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The exhibition would be incomplete without the artist’s personal household items. They were provided by the Liskinsky Museum of History and Local Lore, which stores a memorial room dedicated to the life and work of V.P. Krivoruchko. Greetings and thanks were sounded from the director of the museum, Irina Belyakova. She expressed hope that “the memory of this outstanding person, of a person of this magnitude will be preserved by the inhabitants of Voronezh, by the Russians for many, many, many years to come.”

At the opening ceremony, verses were written by V.P. Krivoruchko while working on a cycle on the theme “Kulikovo Field”, performed by the actor of the Voronezh Drama Theater. A. Koltsov, Yuri Smyshnikov.

Director of VOKhM named after I.N. Kramskoy Olga Ryabchikova expressed gratitude to the partner of the exhibition – the president of the charity foundation “Artists of Voronezh” Alexander Alexandrovich Bubnov, noting that this joint project is far from the first in the framework of cooperation between the fund and the museum. For this anniversary exhibition, the philanthropist published an authoritative and impressive album by the artist Krivoruchko, where 362 works of the author are reproduced.

In his solemn speech, the exhibition partner A.A. Bubnov read part of the thoughts of V.P. Krivoruchko about the life, work and the city of Voronezh, which, according to the artist, he not only loved, but belonged to him as well as his work.

In memory of the artist, Post of Russia held a special ceremony for the special cancellation of an envelope depicting a self-portrait of the artist. Inna Akimova, deputy director of the UFPS of the Voronezh region, told the audience that a special stamp was issued for this event, which is valid for one day. In addition to the governor of the Voronezh region, all the heads of institutions that provided work for the exhibition became participants in the special cancellation. They were honored to put a unique impression and their signatures on the envelopes.

At the end of the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Russian folk songs were performed by the ensemble “Pavete.”

The exhibition will last at the Museum until October 6, 2019
