Vladimir Aleksandrovich Golub was born in Voronezh in 1954. For several years, since 1999, he taught photography courses at the Voronezh Art School, then at the Faculty of Journalism of the VSU. In 2012, he organized and headed the Photographic Center of the Voronezh State University – a unique division for Russian universities, including a photographic club “Photum”, a photo studio, a design studio, an educational unit for teaching photography based on its own authoring techniques and programs.

Within the framework of the photo exhibition Poetics of the Landscape, the author presents for the first time a monotematic selection of landscape photographs, most of which are exhibited for the first time.

The basis of the exhibition is photographs taken using classical technologies – analog (film) and digital. Also, the images taken with the help of self-designed and manufactured soft-lenses, as well as works created using modern computer technologies, including the methods proposed by the author, are also demonstrated.

The main creative task of the author was not only a reflection of the beauty of nature of Russia, the creation of an aesthetically significant image, but the transfer of a certain emotional mood to the viewer. This is facilitated by the transition from a specific image to a more generalized, almost abstract image, while preserving the realism of the photographed object.

Opening of the exhibition on June 17, 2015 at 16.00.

The exhibition will last until September 20. The ticket costs 50 rubles.
