The name of the young graphic artist is well known in Voronezh. In 2011 he became a laureate of the regional contest of creative works of youth “Kultpohod”, a year later the first personal exhibition of Denis Bulavintsev “Chernozem” was held in the House of Journalists, dedicated to Voronezh, its landmarks and traditional city landscapes. In 2013, the Petrovsky Book Club hosted a presentation of a unique album featuring 16 linoleum engravings depicting various corners of Voronezh, and in 2014 the artist received a grant from the government of the Voronezh Region in the field of culture and art for the publication of the album Voronezh in engravings, poems and notes of local lore “.

The works presented in the exposition are made in a complex and laborious technique of classical black and white linocut. This technique arose in the early 20th century and is now considered undeservedly forgotten.

At the exhibition, visitors will be able to see previously exhibited works: linocuts from the Chernozem series, three sheets within the framework of the project “University theme in the works of Voronezh artists”, and a series of new ones, first exhibited: linocuts from the “Morocco” series, sheets from the series ” Bears “and a collection of ex-libris.
