On May 20, the Voronezh Regional Art Museum hosted the annual “Night of Museums” event. The event was attended by 2,800 people who visited the museum on this day.

Exhibitions, master classes, concerts, lectures and talks at the exposition were presented to visitors at the site.

In addition to the permanent exhibition, the current exhibitions “Joy of Life”, “Face. The Person of Personality”, the German Occupation” in the museum space, an exhibition of one painting “Portrait of the art critic M.I. Luneva” by R.M. Moskalenko (from the museum’s funds) was presented, at which a thematic excursion “Margarita Luneva: researcher and educator” took place.

This year, the theme of the campaign was “History and Stories”, so the museum staff prepared several events for the guests at once dedicated to the history of the museum’s collection: a thematic excursion “The History of one masterpiece” and a presentation reading “Ancient Rhapsody”.

At master classes led by Voronezh artists Nelly Frolova, Olga Remez and Irina Lepekhina, participants created architectural sketches, prints on cardboard and accessories in the form of unique bracelets.

Voronezh musicians performed for everyone in the exhibition hall of the museum. The guitar orchestra “Bolshoe Barre” under the direction of Sergei Kordenko, performed works by Russian and foreign composers — D. Shostakovich, L. Bonf, V. Kosm, I. Albenis and others.

The program of the evening was completed by one of the first drum shows in Russia “Concept show Drumataca”, which performed a simultaneous fusion of jazz brass orchestra and live music.
