On October 13, the exhibition “Voronezh Palace. History and architecture”.

The exhibition includes more than 60 reproductions and photographs from the collections of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after I.N. Kramskoy, the Voronezh Regional Museum of Local Lore, the State Inspectorate of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Voronezh Region, the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg, the A.V. Shchusev State Research Museum of Architecture.

The chronologically arranged images created by artists, architects and photographers tell the viewer about the monument located in the heart of historical Voronezh.

The exhibition was opened by the director of the museum Yulia Nikolaevna Zaichenko and the curator of the exhibition Anna Alexandrovna Paliy.

Yulia Nikolaevna reminded that this year the museum celebrates its 90th anniversary and the exhibition “Voronezh Palace” has become one of the events dedicated to the anniversary.

Anna Alexandrovna thanked everyone who came to the exhibition, and also clarified that this is the first exhibition where the Voronezh Palace was the subject of research. After the opening remarks, Anna Alexandrovna conducted a curatorial tour, in which she mentioned the full history of the Voronezh Palace for 250 years.
