Lighting equipment has been replaced in the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after I.N. Kramskoy. The renovation was made possible thanks to the national project “Culture”.

New compact focussed track lamps were installed in the painting hall of Italy, England and France, as well as in the art hall of Ancient Egypt. After several days of technical work, the halls of the museum are illuminated by more than 120 modern floodlights.

“Museum lighting is a special skill that requires knowledge of modern technologies and a creative approach. The standards of interior lighting of shops or offices cannot be applied in the exhibition space. It is thanks to proper lighting that we can provide comfortable conditions for viewing exhibits, focus on important details and create the necessary museum atmosphere,” Scientific Secretary Natalia Evgenievna Bakina.

We remind you that the Hall of Art of Antiquity and the Hall of Art of Northern Europe (the Netherlands, Holland, Flanders and Germany) are closed for a longer period due to re-exposure.
