Curatorial tour of the exhibition "Dilapidated. Eternal"

On October 20, 27, November 3 at 18:00 in the museum you can visit a curatorial tour of the exhibition “Dilapidated. Eternal.”

The museum invites everyone (over 12 years old) to visit the exhibition of paintings and graphics “Dilapidated. Eternal” with an author’s tour. The exhibition includes about 30 paintings and graphic works and is timed to celebrate the Days of Israel in Voronezh.

On the tour you will learn about how the Old Testament stories were interpreted by artists of different schools and trends, why the Old Testament prophet Moses is depicted with horns, and how Raphael encrypted his client in the fresco “The Expulsion of Heliodorus from the Temple”.

Senior researcher, specialist in Western European art Valeria Meremyanina will review the exhibition.

The curator of the exhibition is Valeria Meremyanina, senior researcher at the museum.

The exhibition project will last until November 6 (inclusive).
