On September 1, 2022, the museum hosted the annual presentation of diplomas and memorable gifts to students of art faculties of universities “For loyalty to the traditions of realistic art”.

The awarding ceremony was attended by the Academic Secretary of the Council of Rectors, Associate Professor Vladimir Semenovich Listengarten, Acting Director of the Museum Yulia Nikolaevna Zaichenko, Director of the Voronezh Art School Sergey Petrovich Gulevsky and head of the Center for Spiritual Revival of the Chernozem Region Grigory Fedorovich Fedorov.

The essence of the project is that educational institutions that train future artists annually nominate one student whose works correspond to the line of realistic art.

The project “For loyalty to the traditions of realistic art” was born in Voronezh. Its founders were the Art Museum, the Council of Rectors of Voronezh Universities, the All-Russian newspaper “University Bulletin”. This year, the Center for Spiritual Revival of the Chernozem Region joined the project. During the 9 years of the contest’s existence, the geography of participants has significantly expanded. A few years ago, students of Lipetsk State Pedagogical University, Oryol and Kursk State Universities began to take part in the competitive selection.

Also, for the third time, a diploma named after V.D. Dobromirov (former director of the I.N. Kramskoy Art Museum, honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Honored Artist of the Voronezh Region) was awarded. The award was awarded to the scientific secretary of the museum Natalia Evgenievna Bakina.
