The museum opened an exhibition of works by the artist Piotr Nilus "A Lonely Walk"

March 18 at the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy opened the exhibition “Lonely walk / Promenade solitaire”, representing the paintings and drawings of P.A. Nilus from the collection of VOHM them. I.N. Kramskoy.

The Voronezh Art Museum owns one of the largest collections of works by Pyotr Nilus (1869–1943) in Russia.

The collection was transferred to Voronezh in 1995 by the artist’s stepdaughter V.L. Golubovskaya. All transferred works were made by the painter during his emigration to France (1923-1943).

More than 50 works by Petr Nilus, as well as personal belongings of the artist, are presented to the attention of visitors.

The exhibition will run until April 17, 2022.
