Thanks to the new adventure game “Festive Route”, you will go on a funny journey and learn about ancient beliefs, folk and Christian holidays celebrated in the warm season. To do this, you have to go through a fascinating route through the exhibition halls, complete various tasks for logic, attention and observation, which do not require special art history knowledge. The route will allow you to look at the exhibits from a different angle and get to know the museum’s exposition more closely. Participants will feel like real researchers, search for various works of art, learn a lot of new interesting and useful information. At the end of the path, all participants in the game will be waiting for well-deserved prizes.

The cost of the entrance ticket is 200 rubles and 100 rubles (preferential).

March 30 at 12.00. Thematic tour “We came to the museum.”

A sightseeing tour, during which the children will not only get acquainted with the features of the art museum, museum rules and terms, the main types of fine art: painting, graphics, sculpture, but also learn about the history of the building: who, for whom and when built the Voronezh Palace, who is Ivan Nikolaevich Kramskoy and why the art museum bears his name, what objects form the permanent exhibition and the works of which famous Russian and foreign artists are presented in the museum.

March 31 at 12.00. Thematic lesson “In the workshop of the painter.”

The thematic lesson includes two parts: a theoretical one, which will introduce children to the features of the artist’s profession (what materials and tools are used to create paintings, what oil paint consists of, what a palette is, what brushes are, why an easel is needed and how to work with a palette knife) and exposition, during which children, accompanied by a guide, will look at paintings of various genres by famous Russian and foreign artists presented in the museum collection.

April 1 at 12.00. Thematic tour “Landscape painting”.

The thematic tour will be devoted to only one genre of painting – landscape. Let’s look at the paintings presented in the museum halls, get acquainted with the history of the genre, think about what types of landscape are (urban, rural, marine, architectural, industrial, lyrical), find out how Russian and foreign artists depict summer and winter, spring and autumn , what colors and shades are used, let’s look at cold and warm colors. The tour takes place in a playful way and includes small creative tasks.

April 2 at 12.00. Thematic tour “Servants of the Place of Truth”.

The thematic tour is dedicated to the masters of Ancient Egypt: sculptors, carvers, stonemasons, architects, artists who worked on the creation of the temples of the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens near Thebes. During the tour, the children will carefully examine the collection of ancient Egyptian art, learn about the life of the village of artisans “Set-Maat”, about the masters who created the tombs of the great kings, as well as when the wooden anthropomorphic sarcophagus was created and who owned and which exhibit of the collection is older than 4 thousand years?

April 3 at 12.00. Master class within the framework of the exhibition of F.V. Semyonov-Amursky “Mood Landscape” (10+)

The participants of the master class will visit the exhibition “Mythology of Time” and get acquainted with the works of Fyodor Vasilievich Semyonov-Amursky. Together with the artist Olga Remez, we will talk about what mood is and how it happens, how it is conveyed through color. And then, in the workshop, we will try mixed media, study the combination of such materials as colored pencils and gouache, talk about the secrets of working in this technique, about composition, about color and inspiration. Let’s write an abstract landscape, trying to convey our mood with color.
All materials are provided. Take your finished work with you.
