January 25, 2022 at the VOKhM them. I.N. Kramskoy hosted the “Lesson in the Museum” – a city competition held as part of the XIII City Festival of Pedagogical Excellence “From Calling to Recognition – 2022”.

The purpose of the competition is to familiarize the younger generation with the culture and history of the Voronezh region, increase the efficiency of using the potential of the city’s museums in the educational process and extracurricular activities, as well as identify the best pedagogical practices.

The lesson in the museum was dedicated to the anniversary date – the 190th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian landscape painter Ivan Ivanovich Shishkin, who was born on January 25, 1832.

The participants of the lesson – pupils of the MBOU gymnasium “UVK No. 1” learned about how the museum exposition is arranged, the paintings of what genres are presented on it, got acquainted with the painting by I.I. Shishkin “Forest. Late Autumn” from the museum’s collection and other landscapes presented in the form of reproductions reflected on the themes of the artist’s paintings. And during the creative part of the lesson, the guys, like real artists, created a fabulous winter landscape.
