The right to visit the permanent exhibition of VOKhM them. I.N. Kramskoy is used by the following categories of visitors upon presentation of the relevant document:

• Heroes of the USSR, Heroes of the Russian Federation, Full Cavaliers of the Order of Glory, Veterans of the Great Patriotic War and local wars
• Museum staff of the Russian Federation
• Members of the Union of Artists
• Persons enrolled in basic professional educational programs – once a month (last Sunday of the month)
• Persons under the age of 18 have the right to free admission to the main exposition of the museum in the mode of self-examination – once a week on Thursdays
• Large families – once a month (last Sunday of the month)
• Orphans and children left without parental care
• Pupils of orphanages
• Military conscripts, 1st-year cadets of military educational institutions (before concluding a contract with them)
• Disabled persons of I, II groups
• Patients with oncological diseases
• Preschool children
• One accompanying group of children for 10 people
• One accompanying group of adults for 15 people
