Opening of the exhibition of museums of Voronezh and the region in Belgorod

On August 27, the Belgorod State Art Museum hosted the grand opening of the Art Collections of the Voronezh Region exhibition, organized with the support of the Russian Cultural Foundation within the framework of the Creative People federal project of the Culture national project.

The exhibition presents more than 80 works of fine art, covering the period from the second half of the 19th century to the 21st century, from the collections of four museums, including the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy, Voronezh Regional Museum of Local Lore, Ostrogozh Museum of History and Art. I.N. Kramskoy, Liskinsky Museum of History and Local Lore.

Voronezh Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy is presented at the exhibition most fully – the exposition shows more than 40 graphic and pictorial works of Russian and Western European art from the museum’s collection. At the exhibition, visitors will see the works of Ivan Shishkin, Elena Kiseleva, Alexander Buchkuri, Peter Nilus, Vladimir Milashevsky, Fyodor Semenov-Amursky, Sergei Romanovich and other artists. Many works are kept in the funds, so at the exhibition viewers will have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the masterpieces of the museum collection.

The exhibition is designed for a wide range of visitors and will run until September 26, 2021.
