Exhibition "Art Collections of the Voronezh Region" will open in Belgorod

On August 27, 2021, the exhibition “Art Collections of the Voronezh Region”, organized with the support of the Russian Cultural Fund within the framework of the federal project “Creative People” of the national project “Culture”, will begin work in the Belgorod Art Museum.

The exhibition will present more than 80 works of fine art, covering the period from the second half of the 19th century to the 21st century, from the collections of four museums, including the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after V.I. I.N. Kramskoy, Voronezh Regional Museum of Local Lore, Ostrogozh Museum of History and Art. I.N. Kramskoy, Liskinsky Museum of History and Local Lore.

Each art collection has its own story. The main idea of ​​this exposition within the framework of the exhibition project “Art Collections of the Voronezh Region” is to show the main stages of the formation and replenishment of the presented collections of museums. Many works are kept in the funds of the presented museums and are rarely exhibited. Visitors to the exhibition will have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with striking exhibits from the collection of museums in Voronezh and the Voronezh Region at one exhibition site.

Among the works exhibited at the exhibition are paintings and graphic sheets of famous artists of different directions and periods: I.N. Kramskoy, I.I. Shishkina, N.A. Yaroshenko, A.P. and S.P. Tkachevs, Z.K. Tsereteli and others.

The exhibition is designed for a wide range of visitors and will run until September 26, 2021.
