An exhibition dedicated to Voronezh opened at the Kramskoy Museum

On August 11, in the exhibition hall of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy opened the exhibition “VORONEZH: up and down”.

The exhibition dedicated to the 435th anniversary of the city of Voronezh presents about 40 graphic works from the museum collection and private collections. All works were performed in different graphic techniques (linocut, etching, drypoint, aquatint, woodcut and others). The exhibition gives an opportunity to see what the houses, streets and alleys of the city were like in the 50-90s of the XX century.

The works presented at the exhibition were created by famous graphic artists of several generations, including G. Alekseev, V. Presnyakov, M. Akhunov, O. Turbin, G. Grishchenko, E. Poshivalov. Modern views of Voronezh are presented in the works of the graphic artist Denis Bulavintsev, made in the technique of linocut.

The exhibition will run until September 19 and will be a wonderful birthday present for the city for all its residents and guests.
