August 6, 2020 in the exhibition hall of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after I.N. Kramskoy, the exhibition of contemporary art “Are you flying away? Fly away! “

Exhibition project “Are you flying away? Fly away! ” will reveal to the visitors the concept of flight as a metaphor for freedom. Taking off from the ground and free floating has excited human minds since ancient times.

The exhibition will feature about 70 paintings, graphics and other works by more than thirty famous artists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Lipetsk and Paris. Authors with dissimilar aesthetic attitudes discuss flight, overcoming all conventions. The way of moving in space is not important here, as well as the plot and the author’s technique. If for some the topic is physical take-off with the help of an aircraft, for others it is a spiritual state and emotional uplift: flying on an airplane, on a swing, in a jump, in space, the flight of thought or spirit, finally. Flight as a way of life expansion on Earth and beyond Earth. Reality or virtual consciousness that allows you to be in a state of motion.

The exhibition will run until August 30.
