The exhibition will feature more than 50 works by Tatiana Nazarenko (paintings, installations) and 15 paintings by Igor Novikov.

Tatyana Nazarenko – Soviet and Russian painter, teacher, professor. Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts. People’s Artist of the Russian Federation. Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation. Member of the USSR Union of Artists.

The artist’s work is about people. All her paintings are simply filled with people who are in a hurry, meditate, bathe, celebrate, dance, talk – they do everything that is typical of ordinary people. All of them are different and belong to different social worlds, but their images are humanly similar, vulnerable and recognizable.

Igor Alekseevich Novikov – Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, the son of the artist, a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, an honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts Novikov Alexei Ivanovich.

Igor Novikov belongs to the generation of Moscow non-conformist artists, whose creative development was in the era of the collapse of the Soviet Union. Member of the USSR Union of Artists since 1987. Works in the field of oil painting (portrait, still life, landscape, thematic picture).

In his paintings, the artist uses a variety of styles and techniques of painting to display the temporary space in which he lives. He observes the world in which he is, perceives all his changes and displays them with the help of his own invention, pictograms which he skillfully fits into his canvases.
