Report on the "Night of Museums" 05/21/2016

May 21, 2016 in the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. The annual action “Night of Museums” was held in Kramskoye.

The action was held from 16.00 to 24.00.

The program “Nights of Museums” included events of various orientations: live music concert, video demonstration, thematic events (within the “Night of History”), dance performances.

At 16.00 in the lecture hall of the museum, a series of films of the author’s animation “Painting in Motion” was launched, which was conceived as a continuation and expansion of the traditional museum exposition. The films of artists enriched the art of animation with bright and unique expressiveness were demonstrated.

Were shown:

16.00 – 17.00 – Dmitry Geller films (“Letter from Kislovodsk”, “Little Night Symphony”, “The Boy”, “How the Mouse Carried the Cat”).

17.30 – 18.30 – films by Irina Evteeva (“Faust”, “Theusi”, “Demon”).

19.30 – 20.30 – Alexandr Alexeyev’s films (“The Night on the Bald Mountain”, “The Passage”, “Pictures from the Exhibition”, “The Nose”, “Three Moods”).

21.00 – 22.00 – films by Alexander Petrov (“The Cow”, “The Mermaid”, “The Dream of the Funny Man”).

Simultaneously with the beginning of the video screening at 4 pm, the music program “Melodies of Spring” started in the second floor of the museum exposition, performed by laureates of regional and international contests – cello ensemble “Cello-Vecchi” and cello ensemble “Gentleman-show” DGI No. 7 under the direction of Alla Anatolievna Selivanova .

In the music program, along with famous classical works (PI Tchaikovsky, K. Saint-Saens, JS Bach), popular favorite melodies from animated and feature films, as well as variety compositions were performed.

After the end of the music program from 17.00 to 18.00 in the museum hall, all those who wished to participate in the story-conversation “The history of one exhibit. E.A. Kiseleva “Marousia”. Senior Research Fellow V.А. Meremyanina told the audience about the history of the creation of the portrait “Maroussia”, written in 1913 in Paris, one of the best students of IE. Repin Voronezh artist Elena Andreevna Kiseleva, who considered this work the most successful in her work. Thanks to this work, the study of the artistic heritage of E. Kiseleva began in Voronezh.

This event was held within the framework of the “Night of History”, timed to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the Russian Military Historical Society.

Also within the “Night of History” from 19.00 to 19.30 in the lecture hall was held a video presentation “Voronezh military with the eyes of front-line artists V.V. Bogatkina and V.A. Demidov “(prepared and conducted by the head of the scientific and educational department of the museum IS Demanov).

All spectators could become participants in a virtual tour of the memorable places of our city connected with the events of the Great Patriotic War and had the opportunity to “see” the military Voronezh through the eyes of the artists-front-line soldiers Vladimir Bogatkin and Vitaly Demidov, whose works from the VOKHM collection them. I.N. Kramskoye are unique historical evidence of the true tragedy of the city during the Second World War.

From 21.00 to 23.00 in the exhibition and exposition halls of the museum (on seven stages) there was a dance performance “Between the spectator and the museum”, which was performed by the dancers and choreographers of the “PROcontemporary” community.

Dance performance was conceived with the aim of reinterpreting and sensing the museum’s space, its phenomenon. And also to show the museum as a meeting place of the viewer with art objects and himself.

For self-examination of the main exposition, visitors were offered route sheets.

The action “Night of Museums” in the VOKHM them. I.N. Kramskoy was visited by a record number of visitors – 4,700 people.
