Opening of the exhibition of Sergey Andriyaka

September 28 at 16.00 on the third floor of the permanent exposition of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. The solemn opening of the solo exhibition of Sergei Nikolaevich Andriyaka, the People’s Artist of Russia, the Full Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, the founder of the Watercolor School, the Rector of the Academy of Watercolor and Fine Arts, “The City of Marvelous, Ancient City … Moscow in the Watercolors of Sergey Andriyaka” was held.

The exhibition features 22 watercolor paintings dedicated to the architecture of one of the most beautiful cities in Russia – Moscow. The exhibition demonstrates a wide range of scenic effects and techniques, which the artist masterfully master. Each picture is imbued with a sense of peace and inner life, reveals the unique charm of the capital, full of subtle lyricism and beauty.

The opening began with a welcoming speech by the director of the VOKHM named after V.Yu. I.N. Kramskoy – Vladimir Dobromirov, who noted that the artist works in the technique of multilayer watercolor painting and, of course, is a worthy successor of the traditions of academic painting. The works presented at the exhibition are made during the last two decades. Vladimir Dobromirov expressed gratitude to the curator of the exhibition Kirill Maslenikov (a specialist in the exposition and exhibition activities of the School of Watercolor Sergey Andriyaka), and then gave him the floor.

Cyril Maslenikov told about what works formed the basis of the exhibition, simultaneously introducing the School of Watercolors, noting the high level of education in it.

After solemn words, everyone was given the opportunity to inspect the exhibition.
