The museum invites couples with children (from 8 to 15 years) to master classes in painting and graphics.

Classes are held by Voronezh artist, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia – Valery Semenov.

Classes will tell about such kinds of fine arts as graphics and painting, will acquaint them with the materials and tools of the artist and give an opportunity to try themselves as a real artist.

Location: VOKHM. I.N. Kramskoy (lecture hall).

Periodicity: 2 times a month (Sunday).

Duration: 90 minutes.

The class starts at 11-00.

The ticket costs 150 rubles.

The plan of the cycle of classes for the family audience, conducted by the children’s museum center “Orangery” in conjunction with a member of the Board of the Union of Artists of Russia Semenov VA.

1) November 13, 2016. Introductory lesson “In the Artist’s Painter’s Workshop”, consisting of 3 parts: video presentation, tour of the main museum exposition, fulfillment of practical tasks.
2) November 27, 2016. Composition in drawing and painting (pencil, watercolor, pastel).
3) December 11, 2016. Drawing (outline of the figure of a man, a city landscape). Materials: ink, pen, paper, pen, gel pen, pencil.
4) December 25, 2016. Graphics (watercolor) – the landscape. Acquaintance with the materials and techniques of the landscape.
5) January 08, 2017. Graphics (pencil, sepia) – a portrait. Technique of portrait performance, design features (shape, construction, proportions, tone, volume).
6) January 22, 2017. Graphics (pencil, ink – pen, charcoal, sanguine) – the landscape. Features of work with the listed materials.
7) 05 February 2017. Oil painting – still life. Compositional and color solutions.
8) February 19, 2017. Graphics. Linocut. High printing. Acquaintance with the technique of execution and the tools of the artist – graphics. Work on the creation of engraving).
9) 05 March 2017. Graphics (dry needle, zinc, copper). Deep seal. Familiarity with the processing of a sheet of zinc or copper to prepare for printing. Printing.
10) March 19, 2017. Graphics. Linocut. Color print. Acquaintance with the technique of execution and the tools of the artist – graphics. Work on the creation of engraving.
11) 02 April 2017. The cartoon. Training and drawing.
12) April 16, 2017. Final lesson on the cycle. Discussion of works of artists: ways of artistic solutions, compositions, color solutions.
