November 19 at 4 pm in the exhibition hall of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. Inauguration of the joint exhibition project of the State Museum of Oriental Art (Moscow), the Museum of Ancient Belarusian Culture of the National Academy of Sciences (Belarus) and the Voronezh Regional Art Museum will be held. I. N. Kramskoy. The event will be held within the framework of the Voronezh program – the cultural capital of the CIS.

For the first time in several decades, the cultural heritage of Belarusians will be presented in Russia. Exhibition “Art of Belarus. Way in the centuries “will introduce Voronezh residents and visitors to the city with 71 exhibits from several collections of the Museum of Ancient Belarusian Culture of the National Academy of Sciences.

The exposition presents the Belarusian icons of the 17th-19th centuries, sacral wooden sculpture, ceramics, traditional Belarusian costumes from different regions of Belarus, with a national rhombo-geometric archaic ornament, traditional Belarusian headdresses, potholes and boards.

Complement the exhibition graphic works of Ukrainian and Moldovan artists from the funds of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I. N. Kramskoy.

The exhibition will last until January 24, 2016. The cost of admission is 150 – 200 rubles.
