Opened the exhibition "the Golden age of Japanese graphics. Picture of the elusive peace"

11 August 2017 on the second floor of the exhibition hall of the Voronezh regional art Museum. I. N. Archaeology started its work the exhibition “the Golden age of Japanese graphics. Picture of the elusive peace.” Another project, implemented jointly with the “Art center in Perinnaya series”, Saint-Petersburg, is 63 woodcuts from European private collections. “Picture of the elusive peace” in Japanese “Ukiyo-e”, drawings with scenes of urban life, the battles of emperors and samurai, portraits of beautiful geisha and Kabuki actors. Work performed by recognized masters of Japanese woodcuts, among which Katsushika Hokusai, Ando Hiroshige, Utagawa Kunisada, Kitagawa Utamaro and others. The exhibition will continue until October 15, 2017.
