Dear parents!

This year the museum became a partner of the wonderful project “I am an artist – I see it that way”. This is the 7th creative competition for children with disabilities and their brothers and sisters aged 6 to 20 years, which is held by ANO “Ferris Wheel”.

The theme of this year was “The City in Art”.

To participate in the competition, you must:

– Register on the website of the contest “I am an artist – I see it this way” until July 20

– Create an interpretation of a work from any museum collection on the theme “The City in Art”

– Send a high-quality photo of the work until August 20.

Especially for the competition, Olga Remez, a senior researcher at the museum, developed a master class in mixed media “Boris Domashnikov’s Dream City”. Instructions for the master class

On June 8, the museum hosted a master class for the wonderful pupils of the Sail of Hope Center.

According to the results of the competition, the jury will select ninety-six winners (three from each museum) and more than forty participants will receive special prizes from the partners of the competition. The best works will take part in the final exhibition, which will open on October 9 at the Museum of Moscow. As part of a parallel program in the Metro gallery (m. Exhibition)  the works and stories of the winners of previous years’ contests will be presented.

The competition is held with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund, the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of Moscow, in partnership with 32 leading museums in Russia.
