Museum without barriers

Dear visitors!

Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy became one of the first institutions of the city’s culture, in which the state program “Affordable Environment” is being implemented. People know about the problems of people with disabilities in the museum.

Among visitors there are people with the weakened sight and hearing, experiencing difficulties at movement or moving in a wheelchair. Here they are always trying to surround them with care and attention, offer help.

By now, our museum is adapted to visit almost all categories of visitors with particular health.

Please note:

– The territory of the institution is equipped with a special parking place for people with wheelchairs;
– at the entrance to the museum there is a stationary ramp with an anti-slip coating;
– for wheelchair users at the entrance to the museum, a personnel call system with a DVR is installed;
– for the convenience of users with disabilities of all categories, a sensory information terminal is installed in the lobby of the museum;
– reconstruction of the sanitary unit in accordance with regulatory requirements;
– in the exhibition hall of the museum there is a vertical lifting platform;
– for the formation of a complete auditory environment among visitors with hearing loss in the lecture hall of the museum, an information induction system is installed.

3. In the building of the museum you will be greeted by the administrator, who, if necessary, will invite the accompanying guide.
4. You have the right to an extraordinary service in the ticket office of the museum.
5. You have the right to an extraordinary service in the wardrobe of the museum.

Developed and conducted:

1. Special sightseeing tours of the main exposure for visitors with a violation of the musculoskeletal system.
2. Sightseeing tours of the main exposure for visitors with hearing impairment.
3. Sightseeing tours of the main exposition for disabled pensioners.

A plan for long-term work for visually impaired and unseeing citizens is being developed. It is planned to develop and adapt new additional topics for excursions, lectures and events.
