Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy launches a new cycle of lectures “ART-labyrinth”.
The cycle includes a range of issues and topics that reveal some bright phenomena of world art culture, as well as the history of the unique collection of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after I.N. Kramskoy.

February 27 at 16.00. Lecture “On the life and work of N.N. Ge. On the occasion of the 190th anniversary of his birth ”.
The lecture is dedicated to the life and career of one of the greatest creators of Russian art – a native of Voronezh Nikolai Nikolayevich Ge.
Lecturer – senior researcher of the museum Valery Shakin.

March 11 at 18.15. Lecture “Flemish and Dutch painting of the 17th century – two poles of one revolution”.
Features of two national schools on the example of rare works of masters of Holland and Flanders from the collection of VOKhM them. I.N. Kramskoy.
Lecturer – Senior Researcher at the Valery Meremianin Museum.

March 25 at 18.15. Lecture “Portraits of the Royal Courts”.
The lecture is dedicated to women artists. We will find out why the world artistic culture has kept so few references about them. The main attention will be paid to the works of women artists from the collection of VOKhM them. I.N. Kramskoy.
The speaker is Nadezhda Malysheva, lecturer-guide of the museum.

April 8 at 18.15. Lecture “Paolo Veronese – from Verona to Venice”.
Life and work of Paolo Veronese, his role and contribution to world art. The center of attention will be a replica of the altarpiece by P. Veronese “The Martyrdom of St. George” from the collection of VOKhM named after I.N. Kramskoy.
Lecturer – senior researcher of the museum Valery Shakin.

April 29 at 18.15. Lecture “Pupils of Rembrandt”.
The work of students of the great Dutch painter Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn, whose art greatly influenced the Dutch art of the 17th century. On the example of works from the collection of VOKhM them. I.N. Kramskoy, let’s talk about the peculiarities of the creative process that united the teacher and students.

May 13 at 18.15. Lecture “Portraits of Royals”.
Features of the embodiment of images of monarchs by artists of different schools and eras, a story about their unique, sometimes tragic destinies.
