September 20, 2019 at the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoi held a press conference, launching the IX Academic plein air “On the Land of Boris and Gleb”.

The current plein air will take place in Borisoglebsk, where in 2011 the first Academic plein air on Voronezh land was held.

The subject matter of the open air is associated with the names of the first Russian saints and is a continuation of the artists’ work in the creative understanding of the history of their native land. So in 2017, the Academic Plein Air was held, dedicated to the Oldenburg in Ramoni, in 2018 it was dedicated to the famous fellow countrymen of the Ostrogozh Region: I. Kramsky, S. Marshak, G. Troepolsky.

The current plein air includes representatives of the Russian Academy of Arts and Creative Unions of Russia from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Lipetsk, Voronezh, Tambov, Borisoglebsk.
