Lecture "Singer of Holy Russia"

September 26 at the Vokhm named after I.N. Kramskoi held a lecture “Singer of Holy Russia”, dedicated to the life and work of the Voronezh artist Vasily Pavlovich Krivoruchko.

The lecture was held as part of a cultural and educational program prepared for the exhibition, “He loved Russia with all his heart. On the centenary of the birth of Vasily Krivoruchko. Painting. Graphic arts. Sculpture”

The lecturer was a senior researcher at the VOKhM named after I.N. Kramskoy Valeria Alexandrovna Meremyanina.

The lecture examined the life and key periods of the work of the famous painter, graphic artist, Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR, prize winner Sergei Radonezhsky, honorary citizen of Voronezh Vasily Pavlovich Krivoruchko.
For the most part, the artist’s work is connected with the Soviet era, but the master often turned to subjects that went far beyond the limits of official ideology.
During the presentation part, paintings and graphic works created from the late 1940s to 1994, both in private and museum collections, were demonstrated.
