August 29, 2019 at the Vokhm named after I.N. Kramskoy solemnly opened an exhibition of works by the famous Voronezh photographer Vladimir Golub.

The exhibition “Metamorphoses of the Visible” opens a series of events of the VI Festival of Art Photography “FotumArt”, which will last in Voronezh until September 29 this year. As part of the exhibition, the museum will host master classes and lectures by famous Voronezh photographers and artists.

During the opening ceremony, photographer Vladimir Golub presented his new project, which, he said, was some kind of experiment, during which a search was made for other forms and images – to more spectacularly convey his impressions to the viewer. Since ordinary photography is not entirely suitable for the task, due to its realism and detail, the author sought to create certain images, to convey feelings and sensations not through specific objects, but through spots, lines, and texture.

Vladimir Golub emphasized that the project would not have been implemented without the most advanced photo printing technologies, to which exhibition and interior photography are extremely sensitive. Presented at the exhibition, the modern technology of high-quality photo printing belongs to EPSON, which, in fact, is a full co-author of the new project. Long-term cooperation of the Fotum photographic center, Fotum photo club, V. Golub photo school with this company helps to present exhibition projects at the highest level. The author’s words of gratitude also sounded to the Voronezh State University of Engineering Technologies, which for the first time became a partner of the FotumArt festival, and, of course, to the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after I.N. Kramskoy, who has repeatedly become the venue for exhibitions of Vladimir Golub and his students.

The exhibition runs until September 29th.
