April 18, 2019 at 17:00 in the exhibition hall of the main building VOKM them. I.N. Kramskoy will host the grand opening of the exhibition “Nina Gaponova. Little world in the picture frame.

The exhibition, opening as part of the Year of Theater in Russia, will present about 50 sketches created for performances by the Honored Artist of the RSFSR Nina Ivanovna Gaponova, from the 1970s to 2010. All work from the collection of VOKM them. I.N. Kramskoy.

Nina Ivanovna Gaponova is a person who is selflessly in love with the theatrical art, lovingly gives up his talent, puts heart and soul into each new work. Honored Artist of the RSFSR, laureate of the RSFSR State Prize. K.S. Stanislavsky. A graduate of the theater faculty of the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography in the class of People’s Artist of the USSR, Professor N.P. Akimov and Honored Artist of Russia and USSR State Prize Laureate T. Bruni. She worked in many theaters, both in the USSR and in Russia and abroad.

On account of N.I. Gaponova has more than two hundred productions in various genres – operas, ballets, dramas, fairy tales, even television performances and concerts. Most of the performances, on which Nina Ivanovna worked, no longer go on stage, but on her canvases they again appear before the audience.

Sketches for the performances created by Nina Gaponova could be seen at many exhibitions, in her “portfolio” there are more than eighty: All-Union, Republican, International, personal and zonal. The artist’s works were published in the magazines “Theater”, “Theater Life”, “Artist”.

Pictures and sketches of scenery Nina Gaponova are in twenty-five museums of the country, including in the Theater Museum. A.A. Bakhrushina (Moscow), the Foundation of the Union of Artists, the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.

The cost of visiting the exhibition – 50 rubles for all categories of visitors.
Members of the Union of Artists (upon presentation of a certificate) – for free.
Photographing: mobile devices, camera (without flash) – for free.
Amateur video (1 hour) – 300 rubles.

The exhibition will run until June 30, 2019.
