Classes with the center "Sail of Hope" (6+)

Since November 2013 in the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy together with the regional center for the rehabilitation of children and adolescents with HIA and orphans “Sail of Hope” conduct classes within the museum and educational program. The program involves two groups of children attending the “Sail of Hope” center. Classes are held once in 2 weeks. Children (6 – 11 years) visit them together with their parents.

The purpose of the program: the socialization and inculturation of children with HIA and children adopted from orphanages.

Objectives of the program:

– acquaintance with the values ​​of culture and art;

– Development of cognitive and social skills, as well as visual literacy and emotional sphere of children caught in a difficult life situation.

The program is designed for one year, 13 thematic sessions are combined into two thematic sections: “Art around us”, “Types and genres in the visual arts”.

Each lesson consists of two parts: theoretical, which takes place in the lecture hall and practical, in museum expositions. The study of the proposed topics is carried out with the involvement of a variety of methodological material: slides, art materials, examples of various art techniques. Classes are built on the principle of interactivity. Fragments of classes are built in the form of games, “travel”, “experiment”, “investigation”.

After each lesson, children receive creative homework.
