Exhibition "Klunders. Graphics "in the Museum of A.S. Pushkin on Prechistenka

15 watercolors from the collection of VOKHM. I.N. Kramskoy presented at the first in the history of the monographic exhibition of the Russian artist Alexander Klünder, which opened in the State Museum of AS. Pushkin September 1 this year.

Exhibition “Klunders. Graphics “opens a wide public name of the” forgotten “painter, who created a large portrait gallery of the Moscow society of Nikolayevskaya Russia, contemporaries of AS. Pushkin, M.Yu. Lermontov. In the project, which presents 159 original watercolor portraits of Klyunder’s brush, 20 Russian museums took part, among them the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after Klyuner. I.N. Kramskoy.

Watercolor portraits of officers of the Life Guards Guards Regiment – colleagues M.Yu. Lermontov (from the collection of the Kramskoye Military Academy) belonged to the regimental comrade of the poet Alexander Lvovich Potapov (executed by the author on the personal order of A. Potapov). In the museum collection portraits were received in 1918 from the Potapov estate “Semidubravnoe” in Zemlyansk district of the Voronezh province.

In the permanent exhibition of the museum, two works by Alexander Klünder are usually presented. This is a portrait of Alexei Arkadievich Stolypin (nicknamed “Mongo”), a cousin and a friend of the poet Mikhail Lermontov, and a portrait of Ivan Nikolaevich Goncharov – brother of Natalia Nikolaevna Pushkina.
