Opening of the exhibition of A. Pashkevich "POLITEKOLOGIA"

October 6 at 16.00 in the exhibition hall of the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoye solemn opening of the philosophical exhibition of the works of the Moscow artist and cameraman Andrei Pashkevich “POLITEKOLOGIA” was held. The exhibition is timed to the Year of Cinema in Russia.

The exhibition was opened by the director of the VOKHM. I.N. Kramskoy Vladimir Dobromirov, who spoke about the artist, shared his impressions of the exhibition, stressing that the works of Andrei Pashkevich, who opened the direction of “Polyecology” in the 1990s, are an art document of the era.

With a salutatory word, the artist’s wife, the curator of the exhibition, Gret van Haelst addressed the audience. This exhibition, according to Gret, is a tribute to her husband, friend, wonderful cameraman and artist Andrei Pashkevich. She thanked the Voronezh Art Museum for the opportunity to organize this exhibition and expressed gratitude for the warm welcome.

Among the speakers at the opening of the exhibition was a colleague and friend of Andrei Pashkevich – Oleg Nizhegorodov. He told the audience about the cinematographic projects carried out together with Andrei Pashkevich, and also presented a documentary film about the artist called “The Kind-hearted Man”, the translation of which will be carried out during the entire period of the exhibition.

The opening ceremony was attended by students of the theater faculty of the Voronezh Academy of Arts. With a response from the student fraternity, the curator of the exhibition asked the student of the Academy of Arts – Christina Kryzhenevskaya. She expressed gratitude to Gret van Haelst, for the opportunity to get acquainted with the creativity of the cameraman-artist and handed her a memorable souvenir.

The exhibition will last until November 6.
