Almost five years was spent in Moscow in the All-Russian Art Restoration Scientific Center named after Academician I.E. Grabar, a complex restoration of the picture of Alexander Adriansen, a Flemish painter of the 17th century, “Still-life with Fishes” from the collection of the Pushkin Museum of Art. I.N. Kramskoy. Restoration was carried out by one of the leading restorers of the Moscow Restoration Center, BA. Dergachev, a specialist in the already extremely rare profession – a wood restorer.

In early 2014, “Still Life with Fishes” by Alexander Adriansen returned to the art museum and took his place in the exposition among the works of his eminent contemporaries – Adrian Van de Velde and Peter Klas.
