May 20, 2017 Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy will take part in the annual All-Russian action “Night of Museums”, the theme of which at this time was the 100th anniversary of the 1917 revolution.

Lecture of an art historian, Cand. Bakina N.E. “Revolution and the Russian Diaspora. History of artistic life ».

The lecture is devoted to the phenomenon of the Russian Diaspora. Becoming a consequence of the 1917 revolution, the Russian Diaspora was an example of the incredible intensity of cultural life. I.N. Kramskoy are works of artists-emigrants.

The lecture accompanies the exhibition of digital copies of works by E. Kiseleva, P. Nilus, P. Shmarov, created in emigration and now stored in the museum’s funds.

17.00 – 18.00, the main exposition

Thematic tour “The history of one picture. A.M. Lubimov “Death to the bourgeoisie!” (Holds a senior research fellow VA Shakin).

A story about the history of the work “Death to the bourgeoisie!” By the Russian and Soviet painter, graphic artist, teacher A.M. Lyubimova. The painting “Death to the bourgeois”, written not by order, became the embodiment of the artist’s personal impressions from the initial stage of the revolution.

18.00 – 19.00, exhibition hall

Poetic performance “Revolution of the word” (poems of 1910-1920 in the performance of young Voronezh poets).

Poems of the decline of the Russian Silver Age in the performance of Voronezh poets. The verses of “zarevolution”, “against the revolution” and “business-no-before-this-your-revolution”, what Mayakovsky, Shershenevich, Mandelstam, Akhmatova, Nabokov, Gumilev, Parnok, Bunin, Poplavsky wrote in 1910-1920 , Gippius and other poets. In the performance will take part: V. Safonova, M. Sokolovskaya, N. Kasyakina, V. Gulvansky, A. Veter, T. Mirazian, I. Gladkikh, L. Dudukina.

19.30 – 21.00, exhibition hall

Film screening “KINEMO” (films 1916-1918 with the participation of the silent film stars).

The films will be shown: “The Dying Swan” (1916), “Be Silent, Sad … Silence” (1918), “The Last Tango” (1918).

21.00 – 23.00, main exhibition and exhibition hall

Master-show “Impossible reality” (from the art studio of AV Zagorodnykh).

Within the framework of the action, artists from the studio A.V. Suburban will choose one work in the permanent exhibition of the museum named after I.N. Kramskoy and at the exhibition of works by E. Kiseleva and, without departing from the original, will rethink the image, based on the principles of artists of the 1910s-20s.
